Case Athletic Complex
The Case Athletic Complex, named for Mike Case, a developer and philanthropist who made a significant financial gift for the project, is a 30,000 square foot complex that houses football coaches offices, meeting rooms, game day suites, academic support center for all student-athletes, football locker room and equipment room, athletic training room, video production suite and Lettermen's Club suite. It was built at a cost of $10 million.
Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium
Skelly Stadium received a new name in April 2007, changing to Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium. The newly renovated Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium opened its gates on September 20, 2008 as Tulsa blasted New Mexico 56-14 in front of a sellout crowd of 30,000 fans.
The stadium, originally built in 1930, has hosted concerts, NFL exhibition games, professional soccer and even a St. Louis Cardinals major league exhibition game. No. 1-ranked teams the likes of Miami and Oklahoma have also graced Skelly Field over the last 20 years. The stadium has seen the likes of college football greats Sammy Baugh, Ollie Matson, Walt Garrison, Gino Toretta, LaDainian Tomlinson, as well as TU stars Howard Twilley, Steve Largent, Drew Pearson, Micheal Gunter and Gus Frerotte to name a few.
The 2008 stadium renovation included new seating, restrooms, concession areas, press box with luxury suites and club level seating, FieldTurf and a new south end zone video board.
